This off the beaten path Thai restaurant is a hidden gem! Super attentive and very nice staff. The food was hot, fresh and very tasty. My husband said the som tum was as good as he had in Thailand. We had the Som Tum, Pad Thai, Red Chicken Curry, & Thai Basil Fried Rice. Oh my! The Thai iced tea was so good! Everything was excellent. We will be back!

Very casual hole in the wall type restaurant hidden next to the hospital and dollar store... Because of its location..I thought it wouldn't taste Thai but more American style fast food Chinese. In other words, I went in without much expectation. I was not disappointed with the food and plan to get carry out next time I crave Thai at work. Food came out hot and fresh. Most of the dishes are around $8-9.

Definitely could improve.I stopped by for lunch and my group ordered the curry special, pad thai, spicy chicken & green beans, and fried pork. Everything seemed fresh, but overall the taste was bland. The free soup was simple and not worth my time. The egg roll was the same you can get at any Chinese restaurant. The curry was a potato curry and bland overall. The pad thai had no vegetables, but was sweet and delicious. If I went back I would order this and ask for extra vegi's and heavy on the spice. The spicy green beans were good, but very oily. Skip the fried pork, nothing worthwhile in that. Overall I might come back, but food definitely wasn't a 5 star experience.

The food is good, unfortunately they only have 1 waitress which is also the cook I'm guessing she is very unprofessional and gets overwhelmed very easily, if you order something that she doesn't want to cook she will tell you no, that you can't order that.there has been an occasion that I have had to wait for 1hour for my food as I watched others that got there after me get their order. I believe that she may have forgot my order.. I think they need to hire more staff so that theses mistakes don't occur also she will not accept your credit card unless you have ordered more then $10 dollars of food.. Which to me is ridiculous

I visited this place in October and won't be back. Two stars because the food is barely edible, and just not delicious as I had read. It's not worth the price (which is average) nor a drive to the middle of a neighborhood. Even if I was passing through, I'm sure there is some other place that would do a better job. When I first walked in an hour before closing, the couple sitting at the two tables closest to the front desk topped with papers and a tv looked at me in surprise. I took a few more tentative steps forward and said hello. The way they kept looking at me, I could tell they expected me to know what to do next. I didn't, but I saw some menus stacked, so I grabbed one and sat at the nearest table The woman was really friendly after finally getting up and coming over to me. I told her I would like to start with some fresh spring rolls to eat there while I waited for my entree, but they were out. I ordered the green curry to-go, passing on any other appetizers because I wasn't up for anything fried, and that's all they had. The restaurant's foyer is pretty homey with knickknacks in the display and potted plants. It's like an old Pizza Hut that they remodeled just enough to not look like it. I like that they are open until 9 every night, but be warned they may close early if nobody comes in and it's a slow day. I should have opened the bag before I even left the restaurant, because when I got home and opened it, I was very frustrated. The curry was in one of the generic takeout canisters most Chinese and Thai places use for curry or soup, but it was only half full! Because of all of the reviews, I figured maybe the small size would be made up for by the most delicious Thai I've ever had... But its not. The curry was super thick as if they had used canned coconut milk but didn't and chicken broth or anything else to thin it out a little. The consistency wasn't very smooth, and the bamboo wasn't cooked long enough. The rice wasn't done well either and had a bit of crunch to it.

This is absolutely the greatest Thai in OKC!!! I'm not sure what Sue does in that kitchen but dear lord the Soup is AMAZBALLS & the beef fried rice is quite possibly the GREATEST RICE ON THE PLANET. Tucked away on the south side of OKC by south community hospital, just north of 44th street on Western stop by see Sue and get some of that delicious Thai food!!!

This place was amazing. It isn't much to look at from the outside, but the food here is fresh and flavorful. The green curry was off the charts, as well as the hot wings. Taste like your grandma's cooking.

Was in the mood for Thai and looked up restaurants relatively close to my apartment in Bricktown. Yelp and Google reviews looked good, so I decided to give it a shot. Bear in mind that I'm a Houston native, and coming from a city with an super diverse Asian culture has afforded me the opportunity to gorge on some pretty fantastic cuisine. As a result, my standards for a lot of Asian food are pretty high. My litmus test for any Thai place is pad Thai. Period. For some people its their curry dishes, for me it's pad Thai. The restaurant is typical for the area -- kind of run down, questionably clean, etc. Whatever, I like to live dangerously. It looks like it could've been a 90s era Pizza Hut at some point. The place was totally dead when I stopped by. It looked like it was probably family-owned/operated (just pointing that out in case there's anyone out there who's like me and does like to support the little family-run joints). Prices were about average, the entree was about $8 and the order of springrolls were about $3 or $4. I've definitely seen cheaper Thai places so I'm not going to designate this as "cheap" Thai. So, the food. Not fantastic or mind-blowing. I prefer my pad Thai to be a bit more peanut-y and ended up dumping the peanut sauce that came with the springrolls into the noodles. I ordered mine with pork, which turned out to be a bit dry. There were a few pieces of tofu in there, which I regret not getting instead because it wasn't bad tasting -- it was better than the pork, at least. The springrolls were your basic Asian restaurant, nuke-and-serve variety. Overall, nothing mind-blowing. It was alright for what it was and satiated my craving for Thai but I wouldn't go there again unless I was hard up for another fix.

While not as great as a restaurant in thailand, Thai Garden was pretty decent for a Midwestern location, both in price and taste. The pad Thai was very delicious, as were the spring rolls I ordered. The only issues I encountered were that the owner was a bit rude and that it took almost 30 minutes to make three spring roll orders.

Sue is the owner and one of the nicest people you will ever meet. This is one of our family favorites. The Pad Kee Mao is outstanding! Great food and excellent service.

This is the best Thai food that I have found in OKC. I ordered the Pad See Iew and it was delicious! My husband ordered the Pad Wuhn-sen and he said it was delicious, as well. The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly. Can't really ask for more!

This is the BEST THAI PLACE EVER! I LOVE the PAD THAI! I live in Austin now and can not find a place better than Thai Garden in OKC! O and I have tried so many Thai places here in Austin since I moved here. I'm craving Thai Garden all the time, but no place compares to it! Every time I come back to Oklahoma this is the first place I go! I wish I could go here everyday! I know the place looks not so great from the outside (that is what I thought also) but don't let that stop you from going in! Once u try the food you will love it!

I bought a restaurant.com certificate to try out Thai Garden, and it turned out to be the best Thai food I'd found in the plains after living there for more than half a year. I ordered a tofu green curry, plus a ginger tofu dish to share with my husband. Since I don't eat meat other than fish, it was awesome to be able to order anything on the menu and have it made with tofu instead. The curry turned out to be some of the best I've had. We also shared fresh spring rolls for an appetizer, our tradition at our favorite Thai place in Pittsburgh--and they were just as good. All of the entrees were around $8-9. On top of the food being amazing, the woman who waited on us was incredibly friendly and gracious. I would go back every weekend if we didn't have to move back across the country a week later!
